Time to leave...

After a late night it was time for a fairly early start. The plan was to meet at Chambord, spend some time there and then head off back to Paris for our flight home. So after some emotional goodbyes & stopping to pick up some supplies for lunch we headed off.

The château was amazing, even in the rain. We had fun exploring & deciding who would have which wing.... The double helix staircase provided us with an interesting photo opportunity.

All to soon it was time for lunch, some more farewells & then the long drive north. We are all home safely now & are so please with all that we achieved,

Praise the Lord for:

  • the great fellowship that was had
  • the friends that were made
  • all the work that we were able to do
  • that God kept us all in safety
  • for the generosity of our host families
  • & for the encouragement we have been.

Please continue to pray for the church in Blois.
  • That they would be able to finish the work soon so that they can make use of the building as soon as possible.
  • That they would be inspired and more daring about reaching out into the community around the church building and as a result grow in number and in maturity.
